Haircut!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR THE WEBCAM PICTURES. This is my new haircut. It's A LOT shorter, definitely gonna take some getting used to. Such a change:
Long (ombre/purple):

Short:

Just wanted to share! It feels so strange, so much lighter. Again, I really do apologize for the webcam pictures, they're all so awkward! The haircut really is growing on me though. My hair looks SO much healthier and just...less dead. Ahh, it's sort of an official initiation into summer!

Purple

My brother's Bar Mitzvah is in about 2 weeks. My last hair cut was literally a year ago, before I left for Israel last June.
Clearly, my Mother is forcing me to get it cut before the big day. And let's be honest, I could use it.
I've bleached the ends of my hair twice. They're so beyond dead. But before I cut a ton of my hair off (I'm going 5 or 8 inches shorter. I am so bored with my hair, I need a change), I wanted to experiment with a little COLOR.

The Streets Rise Up Beneath Her Feet and Come Alive

Maria and I have been best friends since kindergarden. Attached at the hip, sisters.
Not only is she beautiful, hilarious, and intelligent, but she's a dreamer. And she's musical.
You can listen to her first single here.
I could not be more proud of her talent and drive or more excited to share this with the world!

BALLIN

Last night, some of my best friends headed off to senior ball (I'm a junior).
They looked STUNNING and I'm so glad I got to take part in their night (prep and photography)
Aren't they gorgeous?

RIGHT?!
They're amazing!
I don't know what I'm gonna do without them next year.

So Hold My Hand, I'll Walk With You My Dear

Below is the link to a video I've been working on over the past few days.
It was really spontaneous, I was just out for a walk with some friends, but I LOVE how it came out!
Enjoy!

But Oh, Those Summer Nights.

A couple weeks ago I posted about The Hunger Games and my disposable camera adventure.
This past summer, I spent a month in Israel. Along with my digital camera, I brought two disposable camera's, to weather the sand and the beaches. I really do love how the pictures turned out.

What's so great about a cheap little disposable camera is the surprise factor. I had the two cameras hiding in my room for over six months before I got around to getting them developed. I forgot when and where I used them (Israel, obviously, but the specifics escaped me). What's so great about film in general is the wait, the fact that you don't know how it's gonna turn out.

And I couldn't be happier with these.
