Sababa

I spent four weeks in Israel this July
Four incredible weeks.
I made close friends (some of whom I visited this past weekend!), ate the best food and had the best summer.
With over 2,000 pictures from my summer vacation, you have not seen the last of these.
I miss it.

Let the water lead us home.

During a five minute hiatus from listening to the new Florence + The Machine CD,  I rediscovered one of my favorite bands.

I'm talking about Mumford and Sons.

Well I haven't listened to Flo in about a day and half. And as much as I long for the last minute of "Never Let Me Go" and the haunting chorus of "Bedroom Hymns", two other songs have monopolized my eardrums.

"Home" and "Liar"

And they are not sung by a well dressed ginger female. They feature the incredible voice of Marcus Mumford.

So moving. Listen:

Up in flames we have slowly gone

Five candles, a flashlight, a matchbook, a camera.
My sister took these photos of me.
I repeat, I (unfortunately) cannot take credit for these.
She worked wonders with my...underdeveloped modeling skills.

My ends are SO SO SO dead from bleaching them this summer.
Also, my hair is not usually this...straight.
But this is what I get when I experiment with my half-broken straightener.

Winter Winds

I know I'm gonna regret saying this, but I'm the tiniest bit exited for winter.

a COSMIC LOVE story part III

I haven't had time to write anything because I've been too busy listening to Ceremonials, the new Florence + The Machine album.

Guys. It's epic.

To quote rolling stone, "Florence is a machine". This album is intense and powerful and since midnight on monday, eternally on repeat.

It's honestly everything I had hoped for.

Don't you love when your most favorite artists release new stuff?

Coldplay, honeyhoney, Florence...
All in the past couple days.
It makes me so happy.

Let's just say, it's a party in my bedroom. I can't stop dancing.
